The project was completed 8 weeks ahead of the contract program, and the building received a commendation award at the 2017 MBA Building Excellence Awards, and was nominated for Best Office Development at the 2018 Rider Levett Bucknall / Property Council of Australia Innovation and Excellence Awards.
SKY FACADES’ first completed multi storey high rise construction project, undertaken in 2016, launched the business into a new category of high quality, complex curtain wall design fabrication and construction.
The facade uses a combination of Alpolic panelling and double-glazed curtain walling, complemented by architectural metal fins on the lower levels.
The project was a complete design and construct procurement model and was executed ahead of schedule and on budget.
