The project’s construction features a fusion of architectural elements, including architectural precast, feature brick, and glass facade, harmonising to create a visually striking exterior.
The glass facade incorporates a bespoke Curtain Wall integrated between brick walls and window wall systems, with sliding doors incorporated into the balconies. To enhance visual cohesion, the majority of louvres have been relocated from the glass facade to the window wall framing, eliminating any visual disruptions and elevating the building’s aesthetics.
This project poses significant challenges due to the integration of various glazed facade types across diverse substrates, including brick walls, lightweight cladded walls, precast, and steel structures. With curved glass adorning the corners, blending harmoniously with the building’s architectural profile and its surroundings, the facade seamlessly integrates into one of South Australia’s busiest and most prominent streets.
