Whitehorse Towers

A striking large and unique building envelope, this two building project is a sight to behold. Complete with curving gold and silver glass facades, numerous balconies, and many other exceptional and unique design features, Whitehorse Towers has changed the face of Box Hill forever.

The structure is comprised of two directly adjacent towers, of 24 and 36 stories, atop a 6 level podium.

The distinctly different facade colours were specifically selected to contrast and complement. The 36 storey tower is wrapped in a golden glass facade and the 24 storey tower in silver. The glass facade curves and twists around the super structure forming a distinct kidney shape.

  • 2 towers
  • 60 stories combined
  • 25K m2 facade area

The taller of the two towers includes 4 terrace levels, with the facade stepping inwards at each terrace. Numerous balconies wind around and the glass facade panels rise above floor level to form the balcony balustrades. This provides the appearance of the balconies being recessed in the curved glass facade.

A combination of curtain wall, window wall, louvres and shop fronts, this large and complicated facade is an example of how SKY FACADES has demonstrated it can safely and effectively deliver a premium product within the program allocated and to a very high quality.
